This gallery contains photographs of the interiors of several state capitol buildings and their domes. Domes of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, and Missouri, among others are included. Other government buildings with domes, such as the Old Courthouse in St. Louis MO, are also included. Many of these photos were taken with a fish-eye lens that covers a 180 degree field of view along the diagonal. Most of the interior images were created using multiple exposure in order to capture the high dynamic range found in these photographs (often refered to as HDR).
